Local, female, and looking for something to do???

The Portland Women's Show is going on this weekend, October8-10. Hours are Saturday 10-6pm and Sunday 10-5pm. Admission is $9.00 and children under 10 are FREE.

It looks like Sunday at 1pm you can meet Ricky Paull Goldin, Dr. Jake Martin from All My Children on the main stage.

Saturday there is a fashion show at 3pm, I'll let you go look at the site for the details on that one ;)

They will also have exhibitors and shopping, workshops and seminars, an authors corner, plus stage events. You can head on over to the website for more information.

This looks like a good one for my Veggie Tales fans!

Veggie Tales is offering FREE shipping on orders over $25.00. Use code FREESHIP231 at check out to get the discount. It says on the website that this is a special promotion offer for today, so you may want to hurry.

20% off at The Children's Place

Just through today you can get 20% off online at The Children's Place. The catch is you have to spend $75 or more. The code is AUGUST2010A. They have their Halloween costumes in stock already and their summer sale is showing online prices reduced by 40%. I did a baby girl search and sorted by low to high prices and found flip flops for just $.59! Two years ago at the end of summer I did a HUGE stock up and was able to get 51 items for $102. Also, if you ask sometimes your local store will give you a free shipping coupon code.
